Chapter 807 She’s a Shameless Thief

Hayley’s POV:

“Don’t change the subject. We’re talking about you right now. It’s fine if you won’t listen to me, but you just came back to the Sander family. Are you that eager to go against Dad’s wishes already?

“You’re just an Omega. Do you even understand the hierarchy and rules we werewolves live by?” Freya snapped at me furiously.

I let out a mocking laugh and said with a meaningful look, “I’m not the only one defying him, am I? I should actually thank you for teaching me that there’s no need to follow rules or etiquette. Just do as you please, right?”

“Spare me the excuses! Are you handing over the gemstone or not?” A vicious glint flashed in Freya’s wolfish gaze.

Of course, I knew what she was up to.

If I gave up the gemstone, she’d be hailed as the one who brought an invaluable asset to the Sanders.

If I refused, she’d use it to drive a wedge between me and the family.

No matter which path I took, she’d win.
