Malachi’s POV

I pull up at the airport in record time. I went over the speed limit to get here. I was so ready to fuck her right here in the airport parking lot. I get out super-fast to look for Chloe, but as I’m looking around, I don't see her. I walk around the whole front entrance of the airport and there is still no sign of her. I go inside thinking; ‘Chloe may have gone inside to use the restroom or something.’ but it's pretty much empty.

I pull out my phone while walking back towards the car and call Chloe. I can hear it ringing, ‘she must be close, how did I not see her?’ I follow the ringing to find her phone on the ground with no Chloe. Terror struck my heart as I wondered where she could be, I shouted her name, running around in a panic. I pick up Chloe’s phone, finding the screen shattered. I feel my wolf's anger rise with each second that passes, which creates my own anger to be ten times worse.

I dial Paul, and I don't give him time to say a word. "Gather the pack, he took Chloe. I'm going to rip his throat out and listen to him gurgle in his own blood," I say, furiously. "We meet in the woods, I need to shift, I will get a better scent in my wolf form." I command through the phone. "We will be there," Paul replies and hangs up.

Leaving my car at the airport, I run to the woods. Once I'm past the tree line, I shift mid-air, jumping over a log. I plant my paws on the ground and let out a howl. I turn my head to see my pack coming through the trees. I give them a look, and I run towards Chloe's scent with my pack right on my heels.

Chloe's POV

There’s a bag put over my head, as I'm forced in the car. I frantically throw punches, hitting the man who grabbed me from the airport. "Damn, you didn't tell me she was a fighter," the stranger's voice says. There is no response from the driver. "Let me go, you pieces of shit!" I scream and start kicking,

but he grabs my feet and uses something to tie them. Realizing what’s happening I start to panic and get angry.

"Oh, wait until Malachi finds you! He's going to rip your fucking head off and use it for a soccer ball, you fucking Psychos!" I yell. "Shut her the fuck up!", a familiar voice says. Before I can say something, the guy in the back lifts the bag to the bottom of my nose only revealing my mouth, to apply tape.

"MMMM!" I try to scream, ‘This stupid fucker forgot about my hands’. So, I swing both my hands hoping it makes contact with this bitch’s face. Tossing my arms wildly, I make contact with the stranger’s nose, and smile when he cries out in pain. Feeling proud of myself, I can’t help but smile. ‘I hope I broke it’, but then everything goes dark.

Malachi's POV

We run, tracking Chloe's scent, when it stops. I shift to my human form as do the rest of my pack. "What is it?" Paul asks. "She is close," I reply. I look around to see a house on the hill to my left; it's over a mile away. "Chloe is there," I point. We all shift back, slowly moving towards the house to not alarm anyone keeping watch. ‘I'm going to kill him.’

We stand at the tree line. I see a man on the front porch smoking. I crouch so he can't see me. We shift and Paul hands me a pair of pants. I slip them on. "Paul, I want everyone to surround the house. Stay alert. I don't know how many are here, everyone needs to be in wolf form," I state. "What about you, Alpha?" Paul asks. "I'm going to kill my brother with my bare hands," I say with an evil look coming over my face. "Malachi?" I turn to see Amelia walking to me with tears. "Save her and kill anyone who put their hands on her," She says with fury. I give her a nod in agreement, and she shifts back.

The pack stalks the radius of the house while I crouch, slowly moving to the guy on the porch. I wait until he moves to look over the railing, facing away from me. I jumped the fence and grabbed him, putting him in a chokehold. "Where is she?" I demand in a deep voice. "I don't know what you're talking about," He retorts, so I tighten my hold. He tries slapping my forearm, letting me know he is tapping out. I release slightly. "She is upstairs Alaric has her in a room with him" He blurts out in hopes I’ll spare him.

"One more thing, you fucked up," I whisper angrily. I snap his neck like a twig and toss him over the rail. I open the door, looking in all directions. There isn't anyone in sight, so I go in, making it to the bottom of the stairs, but I'm stopped in my tracks by a blood-curdling scream...
