“I won’t disturb you anymore…” Ashley cried as she turned and ran.

“Ashley!”

Ferris didn’t even glance at me lying on the floor and chased after her without hesitation.

I lay there as blood blurred my vision.

I suddenly laughed–laughed until tears streamed down my face.

When the nurse found me, I had already lost consciousness again from blood loss.

In my last moment of awareness, I heard the nurse’s panicked shouts: “The Luna has a head injury! Call the doctor quickly!”

But Ferris never returned.

Due to my head injury, I had to stay in the hospital several more days.

Ferris never appeared again.

I knew he must be busy comforting Ashley.

So I never called him once, didn’t even send a single message.

On the day of my discharge, the butler called to ask about arrangements for Ferris’s birthday party.

I held the phone in silence for a long time.

Every previous year, I had personally organized Ferris’s birthday.

Though Ferris was born into Silver Moon Pack royalty, his family lacked warmth.

His parents didn’t even know he was allergic to peanuts and would prepare peanut butter cake every year.

I remembered the first year I attended his birthday party, seeing him secretly taking allergy medication.

‘Why don’t you just tell them directly?” I had asked with concern.

‘It’s not necessary,” he’d replied indifferently. “Compared to this, they’re more concerned with the pack’s annual finances and territorial issues.”

“The cake should be Black Forest, no peanut butter.”

“Use white roses for decoration–he hates red roses.”

“Don’t include tequila on the drinks menu–it gives him headaches.”

“Remember all of this clearly. When you organize it next time, don’t make any mistakes.”

The butler asked in confusion, “Won’t you be organizing it next time?”

I lowered my eyes without answering.

Next time…

I wouldn’t be his Luna anymore.

How could I possibly organize it then?
