“Not without my permission!”
In a private hospital’s emergency room, the nation’s top medical experts are gathered,
their faces etched with concern.
Every one of them wears a frown, their brows furrowed in anxiety. Outside the room, Charles stands vigilantly, refusing to leave.
Behind him are Jessica and her friends, whispering amongst themselves.
A surgical expert emerges from the emergency room, shaking his head with a heavy sigh. “Mr. Davis, the patient… she’s dead. I-”
Before the doctor can finish, Charles grabs hirm by the head and slams it against the wall. “I said I would protect her for life! How could she possibly be dead?”
“If she dies, none of you will live either!”
Under Charles’s command, the doctor wipes the blood from his forehead, trembling. and returns to the emergency room to continue the effort.
Observing Charles’s volatile demeanor, Jessica’s friends exchange worried glances. and whisper among themselves. “Jessy, Mr. Davis is digging up graves and rushing to the hospital. He really seems to care about that woman.”
“Yeah, what’s their relationship, anyway?” one asks. “With how Mr. Davis is acting, do you think he might turn on us?*
Jessica, however, is unfazed. Her confidence radiates as she answers, “No way! Charlie loves me. He wouldn’t do that to me.”
“From what it looks like, that woman must be Charlie’s little mistress living in the villa,” she continues. “She got herself into trouble, and he’s just mad. I’ll smooth things. over later.”

Hearing this, her friends’ worries ease. “That makes sense. Look at Mr. Davis. Even
when he’s angry, he just hits the doctor or threatens the bodyguards, but he hasn’t said a harsh word to us.”
“Exactly! This favoritism shows how unique Jessy is in Mr. Davis’s heart.”
“That cheap mistress doesn’t even compare to Jessy, not even a finger’s worth.”
