I gave him a puzzled look as to what had appeared so hilarious to him in this boring as hell class and then looked ahead me. The professor had stopped talking and the class had gone weirdly silent. And then I suddenly realized that the entire class had the same expressions as Elliot’s, and the professor had a murderous look on his face.

I did not say that out loud, Right? Shit! I think I did!

"Miss Ava, get out of my class right now!" Came a thunderous order from the professor.

I grabbed the opportunity of silently given forgiveness or whatever the fuck it was and ran the hell out of class before he could change her mind and give me some kind of punishment to me on my very first day.

Grabbing my bag, I was way too eager and quick to make a desperate dash out of the class. After coming out of there, I threw the bag down on the floor, turned my face toward the lockers and started banging my head on the wall beside my locker. Meanwhile, the bell rang loudly indicating the first class was over.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. It was your first day and first class and look what you did!

Just as we were walking towards the next class, on the way I found Christian standing while leaning against the wall just a bit away from us as his eyes glared daggers at at. His gaze was stuck on my face while the intent look did not falter even a bit as he stared into my eyes.

Is he crazy? What the hell is his fucking problem? Idiot!
