"Alright. I'll go over," answered Austin without hesitation.

Because of what happened to Tina, the Sowle family hated the Munoz family. They absolutely despised Luke. They believed that everything only happened because Tina got together with Luke.

However, Tina was the one who pursued Luke in the beginning. She had brought it on herself. Over the past few weeks, Austin had been working behind the scenes so that she could be spared from a death sentence.

"Aren't you curious what I asked Mr. Smith to discuss with them?" Dominic asked, looking at Vespera.

Vespera shook her head and answered, "Not really."

Dominic questioned, "Are you sure?"

"If it's something I need to know, I'll know about it when the time is right," responded Vespera.

Dominic chuckled. He seemed to like that answer.

As the elevator door opened and they stepped out, Dominic said casually, "It's nothing big. Mr. Sowle and Mr. Munoz had talked to me before about getting Tavian Group to invest in their joint project. I said no back then, but now, I'm reconsidering. If there's money to be made, why not make it together?"

Upon hearing that, Vespera was surprised. Dominic was going to invest in Luke's and Austin's project? Why did Dominic's attitude suddenly change? It felt like Dominic was trying to win them over. But why?
