She really did get distracted and didn’t press him further.

“Just let me know the outcome later.”

She didn’t think it was worth digging any deeper.

Since he’d already said it was his friend, then if she kept asking, it would really be pushing it.

Putting everything else aside, if she rushed to deal with all this right after waking up, wouldn’t that man just find it annoying?
