"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey, Aurelia, where are you?" Jacob's voice sounded urgent.

"That's up to you." Lukas said, as though it had nothing to do with him.

I looked away, continuing to lower my head in thought.

I presumed that with Luke's unapproachable disposition, he wouldn't speak again, but to my surprise, he suddenly asked, "Did Bella Lopez use your design plans for the competition?

I looked up at him, eyes wide in shock. I didn't expect that he would ask such a question to me. "How did you know?" I asked back.

Lukas's tone was indifferent, "Anyone with a brain could figure it out."

I still had not recovered from my shock. "Is that so? I thought...nobody knew."

Lukas didn't respond to my words but instead asked me, "Do you need help?"
