The head of Country M’s research facility just smirked, cold and dismissive. He shot the two a look of pure disdain, then signaled to his men. In a flash, the pair were dragged away.

They realized too late that something was wrong. No matter how hard they struggled, it didn’t matter. A few harsh gunshots echoed through the room, and just like that, it was over—their bodies dropped to the floor.

The director turned his attention to Jackson and Fiona, his expression shifting to something almost reverent, as if he’d just discovered rare jewels.
