"The maid said you didn't eat your breakfast. What's wrong?" Fermin asked, walking in with a tray of food.

Liza rushed to him, pointing at her phone. "Is this true? Or is someone framing Marion?"

She had seen Marion and Debra's love firsthand.

For the past two days, Fermin had claimed the internet was down, so Liza hadn't been online.

She knew something was off. When she finally checked her phone, all the notifications were about Debra and Marion's marital crisis.

"Well, men are the most unreliable creatures." Fermin shrugged. "It's just a love affair."

"But this is Marion," Liza insisted. "Every man in the world might, but not him."

She believed in Marion's love for Debra and trusted Debra's judgment.

Liza knew better than to push her luck. "One day it is."

Fermin smiled, knowing she was thrilled to escape his watchful eye. "Go pack. I'll have someone take you to Orkgate. Be sure to come back safe and sound tomorrow."

Liza nodded. "Don't worry. I won't get lost."

"If you do, Debra will answer for it and pay with her life," he warned.
