As soon as Scott made his little jab, Adrian reached out from behind and gave him a good smack on the back of the head.

"Why do you have to butt into everything? If you were any younger, you'd probably volunteer to be the ring bearer too!"

Having a ring bearer was a tradition where a kid toddled down the aisle with wedding rings. Scott had never considered it before, but now that Adrian brought it up, he gave it some serious thought.

"Can I?" After all, he was still under 18, so he was technically a kid, right?

Adrian was ready to deliver another smack, but Janice caught his wrist just in time. Scott was already dumb, and hitting him again wouldn't help.

Temporarily subdued, Scott didn't notice that Albany nearby had caught their exchange. Its grumpy turtle face was now filled with a strange contemplative expression.

On the other side of the room, Annalise's wedding gift had won unanimous praise from the whole family. But it also brought up a practical concern.

"Up to now, all the wedding preparations have been based on a Westin ceremony. If we go with this wedding attire, won't we have to scrap everything and start over?"

But Scott didn't think it was a big deal. "Didn't we plan for different versions? Just switch to the other venue. It's not a big deal."

Such clients changed plans at the last minute, ignored logistics, and casually tossed out "just redo it."

Scott was utterly baffled. He felt like he was being insulted, but had no proof.

While they were squabbling, Benjamin spoke up. "As long as we've decided on the wedding attire, everything else is manageable. We won't be changing the original venue either."
