Seeing that Theodore still looked cold but wasn’t turning her down, Eliana went ahead and unwrapped the takeout.

A rich aroma filled the air, and no matter how unwilling he was, Theodore had to admit he was hungry.

Eliana watched his expression as she said, “I didn’t know what you liked, so I ordered you spaghetti. Give it a try.”

Theodore lifted his chin, his proud look laced with a trace of reluctant

ceptance. “And how exactly am I supposed to try it without a fork?”
