He quickly moved towards Willow's side.

Willow turned around and saw Jasper coming.

She got up in a hurry, forgetting about her injured finger.

Jasper grabbed her hand and checked her wound. “Don’t ever pick up glass shards with your bare hands again. I’ll go get the first-aid kit.”

He led her to the bookshelf at the side. The first-aid kit was on the shelf.

Willow hastily pulled her hand back. “It’s just a small injury.”

She sucked on her finger and showed it to Jasper. “See, it’s fine. People like me are not that delicate.”

Willow’s finger stopped bleeding.

She smiled coldly and turned around to sweep the broken glass on the floor.

“Mr. Hughes, I’m sorry. I accidentally broke your cup. I will talk to the manager. The compensation cost will be deducted from my salary.” Willow lowered her head and swept the floor.

Jasper could tell that she was avoiding him.

“It’s fine, it’s just a cup. We have plenty of them.”

He was about to explain what happened this morning but he heard Willow mocked. “It’s true, Hughes Corporation is not lacking in anything. What could be lacking for the prestigious Hughes family? It’s the same for you, Jasper.”

Jasper had numerous women by his side. He could change his partner anytime.

He'd waited all morning for her to show up. He wanted to tell her that Frank’s words had nothing to do with him.

However, Willow told him that they owe each other nothing.

No woman had ever dared to speak to him with such an attitude.

Jasper had his ego too. Since Willow didn’t want anything to do with him, he wouldn’t bother about her anymore.

Willow loosened up once she entered the elevator. She was upset.
