Realizing that she wasn’t sad because of him, he gave her a hug before replying, “Oh…? You want me to build my relationship with Yulia as a stepdad…?”

…If only he knew that he really was her father…! Either way, after blushing slightly, Xavia replied, “T-that isn’t what I meant…”

“It was only a joke… Now… Mind telling me what’s wrong…?” asked Zivon dotingly as he stared straight into her eyes.

This, of course, made Xavia slightly touched. Still, with how nice he was being to her, how on earth was she to tell him about the terrible news…? Quickly shaking her head, Xavia then said, “…It’s nothing major… You know what, I’m famished… Let’s head out for some hotpot…”

Zivon could tell that she really didn’t want to talk about it, so he refrained from pursuing the matter. Instead, he kissed her on the forehead before replying, “Sure…”

“He’s my fourth uncle. He learned of your existence back when he was still in jail,” explained Zivon as he poured a cup of tea before placing it before the Fourth Master. Following that, he poured a glass of juice for Xavia.

“Regardless, after I overheard from the guards that you were there, I wanted to meet up with you. After all, it’s not every day Zivon falls for someone! Unfortunately, you were brought out before I even had the chance to look at you… With that context out of the way, I have to say that you’re not disappointing in the least! I’m glad to finally be able to meet you!” concluded the old man.

From what the old man had said, it was evident that Zivon had said some special things about her while paying him a visit, and that left Xavia slightly astonished. After all, if all this was true, then back when she had been devastated by Zivon due to her misunderstanding… He had actually been worried about her the entire time…?

Turning to look at his charming face, Xavia suddenly had the urge to blush… Quickly looking away, she then muttered, “…T-the pleasure is mine, Fourth- I mean, Master Burton…”

The elder was friendly, to say the least, and he shared lots of details about Zivon with her… And in the end, he was prompted to say in a serious tone, “Though Zivon may seem cold, his heart is passionate… You should understand that he’s the kind of person who either doesn’t care about you, or falls head over heels for you…”

“With that said, I believe without a doubt that he’ll spoil you for the rest of your life… Because of that, I hope you’ll treat him nicely and never let him down…”
