Vivian had no time to think about that now. She was still trying to understand about Harbour Crescent - though she couldn't figure out why Sarah had suddenly given up, the island was now hers.

With the final fall of the hammer, Pine Mist Island went to the woman in the corner.

James looked over curiously - the woman's voice seemed familiar, but he couldn't place where he'd heard it before.

As the auction was drawing to a close, Sarah went to the restroom.

She had just finished washing her hands when Charlotte's accusatory voice rang out, "Why did you suddenly give up? I bid on Crystal Bay for you - I only raised the price because I was trying to help you."

Sarah laughed coldly, "Charlotte, if I were you, I wouldn't have the nerve to stand here saying such things. When I told you to tell Vivian I wanted Crystal Bay, is that really what you told her?"

"I... of course I did. I told her about it," Charlotte took a step back.

"Liar! I thought after what happened last time, you'd understand the value of working with me. But I see now I overestimated you."

Sarah's expression grew colder as she turned to leave.

Charlotte grabbed her arm desperately, "Then what about Crystal Bay?"

"How ridiculous. You bought it - why are you asking me what to do? How is that my problem?" Sarah shook off her hand.

"You-!" Charlotte nearly stumbled from anger.

But Charlotte wasn't the only one waiting for Sarah outside the restroom - Vivian was there too.

As soon as Sarah emerged, Vivian spoke up, "Thank you for letting me have Harbour Crescent."

"Don't mention it," Sarah replied with an insincere smile before quickly walking away.

Charlotte emerged from behind just as Vivian spoke, "Although I got Harbour Crescent, I feel uneasy about it. Can you tell me why?"

Back in the auction hall, Sarah returned leisurely to her seat.

She knew her cousin must be very confused but hadn't asked her anything yet because he trusted her completely.

"Cousin, yesterday I received a document - the 'Shipping Route Planning Report.' It clearly marked the waters and islands along the new route, and Harbour Crescent wasn't on it."

Indeed, this was the document Zachary had given her last night.

Melvin glanced in Mr. Anderson's direction. "But what about Mr. Anderson..."

"He's quite remarkable - I finally understand that now," Sarah said with genuine admiration.

"The reason he told us about Harbour Crescent was just to get us to fight for it. He's bid on most properties today, but what has he actually managed to secure?"
