Sarah drove forward desperately with the two black cars in close pursuit.

Her phone kept ringing, but she didn't dare move to answer it in her current situation. The tires made horrifying sounds as they scraped against the road.

Dust kicked up behind them as the pursuing cars seemed bent on a suicide mission, repeatedly trying to ram her. She knew it must be Zachary calling, surely panicked after hearing her earlier words.

But with the relentless pursuit behind her, she couldn't let her guard down for even a moment.

She had underestimated their determination. At one turn, her mind started to blur and consciousness began to fade. She bit down hard, forcing herself to stay alert.

The mountain road was narrow and steep - one slip meant certain death from the fall. With no streetlights in the darkness, it was even more treacherous. The cars behind kept flashing their high beams, making her eyes hurt.

In that split second of distraction, one of the cars rammed her hard. The violent impact made Sarah lose her grip on the wheel, and she slammed into it.

Worse, there was a hairpin turn ahead. With her consciousness fading, she could only watch helplessly as her car veered off the road, the terrible speed throwing off the centrifugal force.

She cranked the wheel hard. After spinning several times, her car crashed into a tree. She slumped over the steering wheel, bleeding from her forehead, too weak to move.

The car that hit her fared worse, plunging straight off the cliff after the collision.

But there was still one more...

She slowly opened her eyes to find her car still in the same position. The car that had been charging at her had been knocked off course by a black Cayenne - it must have been moving incredibly fast to deflect the other vehicle's path.

Before losing consciousness, she saw who had come - it was Zachary!

When she next awoke, it was to the cold. After being unconscious all night, she finally came fully awake, feeling sticky and uncomfortable all over.

She pushed hard against the slightly warped door, finally managing to force it open with great effort. She crawled out of the car, gulping in the mountain's fresh air, the pain in her chest now gone.

Suddenly remembering something, she quickly made her way to where the diverted car had ended up, looking for the black Cayenne.
