"Not impressed yet? The wines available in the market aren't truly precious collector's items. Real top-tier wines have long been stored away in cellars by connoisseurs. Recently, Sotheby's sold a Romanée-Conti for over three million. I was envious for a long time, but I found out too late." The elderly gentleman spoke regretfully, his pained expression genuine.

"Mr. Sadberry, that wine is at my home. Grandpa and Zachary drank half the bottle last time, with the other half still in our cellar. It's a 1945 vintage, with an exceptional aged taste. Why don't I invite you on grandpa’s behalf to finish the remaining half?" Vivian's clear, bright smile was naturally engaging.

Sarah looked up. Vivian stood before the elderly gentleman, with Zachary behind her.

Mr. Sadberry? The name seemed familiar.

Mr. Sadberry turned around slowly, still protecting his precious wine. "Ah, young Miss Wilson, I don't drink leftover wine. I might be old but I’m not desperate for a drink."

Usually, people would realize they'd misspoken after such a response. But Vivian maintained her gentle smile, saying gracefully, "Mr. Sadberry, my grandfather has many wines that are ten times better than Romanée-Conti. I only mentioned it because you brought it up, hoping to tempt you to try my grandfather's collection."

Mr. Sadberry’s eyes flashed with interest. He suddenly laughed, "You're really letting secrets slip! Your grandfather would be furious if he knew."

Sarah shook her head. "You don't understand what that means. When the Napa Valley's most popular wine consultant joined Screaming Eagle, they used a high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot plus Petit Verdot to create their first batch. The purest of that batch - the original vintage - that's the ultimate taste."

Given Mr. Sadberry’s dedication to wine, he would certainly go taste it.

"Very well, but first let's finish the wine tasting. The best is yet to come," Mr. Sadberry smiled.

Vivian nodded in agreement.
