He stared at their wedding photo on the nightstand, remembering Sarah carefully wiping each crystal photo album.

His fingers trembled slightly. Perhaps he really was sick - seriously sick.

At the Ocean Mall, Sarah was shopping with Scarlett. Since the wine tasting, Scarlett had convinced herself that her tacos had played a crucial role in Mr. Sadberry giving the business to the Sanders. She used this as an excuse to insist on buying Sarah dresses.

"See how generous I am! That was a deal worth hundreds of millions. Thanks to me - who knows when you would have closed that deal otherwise!" Scarlett laughed, her eyes sparkling at the array of clothes.

"Yes, yes, of course." Sarah smiled at Scarlett, knowing she didn't really need Scarlett to pay for her clothes.

Sarah rarely went shopping, spending most of her time gathering evidence and working. She hardly had time for shopping, and when she occasionally came with Scarlett to buy clothes, they usually bought what they needed and left immediately.

As they passed a photography studio, Scarlett’s eyes lit up with excitement.

"Sasa! This is the trendiest photo studio right now—super popular! Let’s take some pictures!"

Sarah nodded. This was a newly opened photography studio in East Coast, different from ordinary ones. Instead of just sample portraits, its exterior wall displayed candid shots of landscapes and people, captured by the photographers at random.

While Scarlett picked out a style, Sarah’s gaze drifted toward the photo wall.

Most were scenic shots, but among them were about a dozen portraits. She examined them one by one—until her eyes suddenly stopped on a familiar scene.

Scarlett noticed her staring and followed her line of sight. Her expression darkened.

"Stop looking." Her voice was firm.

She grabbed Sarah’s wrist and pulled her inside the studio, quickly shuffling through outfits.

"Look, I picked out some styles! What do you think?" Scarlett held up the options in front of Sarah.

Sarah barely glanced at them before handing the tablet back.

"They’re all nice. Let’s just go with these."

Scarlett nodded.

She knew Sarah’s heart wasn’t really in it.
