Outside the Sanders factory, several trucks were parked at the entrance. Sarah followed Manager Sullivan and Mr. Lambert, watching the unloading process. "Manager Sullivan, all this new equipment has arrived today, right from the headquarters' stock, and it's too late to ship from Germany now," Sarah observed, her voice serious.

Mr. Lambert smiled, "I didn't expect you to handle this so quickly, Miss Sanders. It's only been a few days since you went to headquarters to file a complaint, and you've already got the equipment here."

"It's all for the good of the factory," Sarah replied, her face still stern. "So, Manager Sullivan, the factory can operate normally now, right? Getting the production line back up is inevitable."

Manager Sullivan's expression wasn't much happier; he hadn't expected Sarah to pull this off so quickly. He forced a smile, "Of course."

As the equipment was moved into the factory, Manager Sullivan returned to his office, wiping sweat from his brow with his handkerchief. He received a call, recognizing the number immediately. "Madam," he greeted respectfully.

"I'm sorry I let you down. The equipment is already in the factory, and we should be up and running the day after tomorrow at the latest," he explained deferentially.

Normally, new equipment would need to be tested—a complex process that could take a day or two.

"I understand, Madam." The woman on the other end finally hung up, and Manager Sullivan breathed a sigh of relief.

He thought for a moment and then decided to call Charlie to his office. Charlie was puzzled by the sudden summons. After the last failed incident, he had been too afraid to face Manager Sullivan, fearing he might be fired. But since the manager had personally called him, he couldn't avoid it any longer.

Charlie seemed torn as he asked, "Manager, what exactly is the task?"

Manager Sullivan no longer played coy and whispered a few words in Charlie’s ear.

Charlie turned pale, and if he hadn't been sitting, he might have collapsed. "Manager, I don’t dare to…“ His voice quavered with fear.

Manager Sullivan’s face turned serious, "Think carefully. You didn’t manage the last task I assigned, and this time it’s not my order but from above. Even with my help, it might not be enough. But, Charlie, no pain, no gain. If you want to strike it rich, you have to take a risk. If you’re not willing, you can leave now, but don’t bother coming back to work."
