Sarah spoke up. "Ma'am, may I ask you a few questions?"

The woman looked at her in disbelief, pointing at herself. "Me?"

"Your hotel killed Yvonne, and you still want to question me?" Her eyes darted around, avoiding Sarah's gaze.

Sarah persisted. "Miss, it's just a few questions. What are you afraid of?"

In front of the police, the woman couldn't keep refusing without arousing suspicion.

She reluctantly nodded. "But I'll only answer selectively."

Sarah said calmly, "May I ask your name?"

"What does my name have to do with anything?" The woman frowned impatiently.

"Alright then. Ma'am, you said you spent a long time in Yvonne's room. I believe you and Yvonne entered the room at 5:45 PM, and then room service delivered dinner at 5:50 PM. Did anyone use the bathroom between the time you returned to the hotel and now?"

The woman touched her neck, her eyes quickly scanning the room where police were now taking photos and collecting evidence.

Only then did she answer, "No, neither of us used the bathroom."

Sarah asked again, "Can you guarantee that?"

"Absolutely! How could I forget something that happened just an hour ago?"

A police officer came out with a camera. "Captain, we've finished taking photos."
