candies everyday. I’ll give you anything, jewelry, cars, houses, shares. I just want

you to be with me!” 

Trent begged, but I never looked back.

He tried to chase me, but I was gone. Even the ring disappeared. Lily didn’t

want him and his love anymore.

Trent’s eyes were closed, his face pale. sweat streamed down his forehead 

and his lips were bleeding. He mumbled my name countless times.

Old Mr. Holloway was so worried about him that he had his assistant get my

new number.

“Hello, Ms. Evans, it’s Trent’s grandfather. You met me at your wedding.”

I was busy when I received the call.

I was silent. Then I firmly replied, “Sorry, I’m doing well, I’m not going back.

If I go back to him, can I still leave? I don’t know. The Holloway family is

powerful, I’m just an ordinary person. Please let me go.”

“Vanessa was his first mistress but won’t be his last. I’m not his only one, and

no one will be.” 

“It’s just obsession, he’ll get over me as time goes by.”
