Cameron’s eyes were icy as she glared down at Milena, who was lying on the floor. After thinking for a moment, she walked off to the

bathroom.

The Saunders family looked at each other in confusion.

‘Did Cameron not hear what Osborne said?‘ someone wondered, ‘Why did she just go to the bathroom?”

Just a few seconds later, Cameron came back out. She was carrying a basin of water in her hands.

Under the confused gazes of the Saunders family, she walked straight up to Milena without a word and, with a splash, dumped the entire basin of cold water right over Milena’s head.

Milena sputtered.

The early spring air was still chilly, and the cold water instantly jolted Milena awake. She wiped the water from her face, coughing and shivering from the cold.

Seeing Milena looking so pathetic, Evan gave Cameron a thumbs–up. “Brilliant move, Cam.”

Cameron crossed her arms and stepped aside. “You guys go on.”

Camilla couldn’t help but laugh, “Cam, you’re something else. Brad’s been single all these years. No wonder he’s totally head over heels for

you.”

Milena, completely soaked, didn’t care about anything else. She scrambled to her feet and tried to bolt, but Evan kicked her back to the floor.

“Where do you think you’re going? Got a guilty conscience?” Evan sneered.

“You’re breaking the law,” Milena shouted, shrinking against the wall in the corner.

Osborne nodded slightly. “You’re right. If we were to go all vigilante on you, that would definitely be illegal.”

Milena breathed a sigh of relief.

But then Osborne continued, “Still, Ms. Wallace, you’re going to be this stubborn about denying everything. Shouldn’t you at least think about your parents, who are still locked up?”

Milena paused for a second, then shot them a scornful look. “Don’t even think about threatening me with them.”

Back when Martin was almost eaten by Pearl, Cameron’s tiger, Milena was ready to ditch him for 15 million dollars.

Now that those two were completely useless to Martin, there was no way she’d risk anything for them.

Cameron said coldly, “She’s cold–blooded. That kind of trick won’t work on her.”

Milena lifted her chin defiantly. “Why should I confess to something I didn’t do just because you’re trying to threaten me?”

Just then, Osborne’s phone rang. It was his assistant calling.

Osborne held the phone to his ear and listened for a moment, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips. “Take her to the police station

first.”

After getting a response, Osborne hung up.

Chapter 728

“Osborne, did they catch him?” Reginald asked.

Osborne nodded. “Yes.”

Milena’s heart skipped a beat.

‘Who did they catch?‘ she wondered. ‘Could it be that truck driver?‘ is that guy really that dumb?”

“Now that we’ve got the evidence,” Eric said, raising an eyebrow as he pulled out his phone, “I’ll call the cops and have them come pick her

up.”

Evan scoffed, “Why bother calling the cops? We can just drag her over there.”

As he spoke, Evan grabbed Milena’s arm and started hauling her toward the door.

Milena clung desperately to the doorframe, panic in her voice. “What are you doing? Let me go. What do you want from me?”

Evan raised his hand threateningly. “Shut it. Make another sound and I’ll knock you out myself.”

Seeing the fierce look on Evan’s face, Milena immediately clammed up.

With a sharp pull, Evan pried her hand off the doorframe.

Everyone got in the car and drove off to the police station.
