Chapter 744
Cameron said openly, “Congratulations. You got what you wanted.”
Bradley dipped his head and gave her a quick kiss on the lips.
Lance teased, “Brad, I don’t think kissing the bride–to–be is part of the engagement ceremony.”
Bradley replied with a straight face, “Just claiming my privileges in advance.”
Everyone burst into laughter. They gave their blessing to their love.
After the engagement party, Camilla pulled Cameron aside.
Camilla looked mysterious. “Cam, I’ve got an engagement gift for you and Brad.”
Cameron, with her perfectly done makeup, smiled, “Thanks, that’s really thoughtful of you.”
Camilla winked playfully. “Cam, can you guess what it is?”
Cameron chuckled, “That’s a tough one.”
Today, Cameron and Bradley were officially engaged, and everyone in the Saunders family, including Osborne’s three kids, who were still in kindergarten, had carefully prepared gifts for them.
They’d all checked in with each other to make sure no two gifts were the same. The presents were a dazzling array.
Cameron honestly had no clue what Camilla might have picked out for her.
Camilla wasn’t really expecting her to guess. She grinned and held out her palm to Cameron–resting in it was a small, dark brown glass
bottle.
The bottle was tiny, about two fingers tall, and completely unmarked. There was no way to tell what was inside.
“What’s this?” Cameron pinched the bottle between her fingers.
“Careful, Cam,” Camilla said quickly, cupping her hands under Cameron’s, worried the bottle might slip.
Cameron tightened her hold on the bottle and asked again, “Cami, what is this?”
Once Cameron had a firm hold on the bottle, Camilla finally relaxed. Camilla grinned and said, “Cam, let me ask you something first.”
Cameron nodded.
“How many kids are you and Brad planning to have?” Camilla asked.
Cameron was caught off guard by that question. She shook her head. “Honestly, I haven’t really thought about it.”
Camilla said, “Well, think about it now.”
Cameron thought for a few seconds. “I’m not really into kids, but I don’t dislike them either. I’ve heard raising a kid is a huge hassle, so I think just having one would be enough.”
“One,” Camilla nodded. “So, do you want a boy or a girl?”
Chapter 744
Cameron replied, “It’s not like I can just pick. That’s up to fate.”
Camilla raised an eyebrow. “Whatever you want, I can make it happen.”
“IVF?” Cameron shook her head. “That’s not necessary.”
Carnilla smiled and nodded at the bottle in Cameron’s hand. “No need for IVF, Cam. Just drink what’s in that bottle, and you’ll get exactly what you want–boy or girl.
“And if you want more than one kid, you can even pick how many–triplets, quadruplets, sextuplets, septuplets, whatever you like!”
Camilla had already called dibs on twins for herself. Evan had claimed the quintuplets. As for octuplets, those were saved for Jade’s little
