Chapter 746
The two families set the date for Cameron and Bradley’s wedding–six months later, on a good day.
Bradley smiled at Cameron. “Cam, what kind of wedding do you want?”
Cameron replied, “I don’t have any special requests. Just keep it simple.”
She wasn’t one to waste energy on formalities. For example, even with today’s engagement party, she kept insisting on keeping things
simple.
“Simple?” Bradley let the word linger on his tongue, then nodded. “Alright, simple it is.”
He’d plan the whole wedding himself.
After the engagement party, the Yates family, playing the perfect hosts, planned to take the Saunders family out to explore Viremont and have some fun for a few days before heading back home.
Bradley went to arrange accommodations for the Saunders family.
Cameron was hanging out with Bradley’s sister and the others when a waiter stopped her.
“Are you Ms. Yates?” he asked.
“Yeah, that’s me.” Cameron nodded.
The waiter said, “Your friend asked you to head up to the hotel rooftop right now.”
‘The rooftop?‘ Cameron frowned, confused.
She was just about to ask which friend it was when Eric said, “Could it be that Brad’s waiting for you on the rooftop with a surprise?”
“Probably.” Cameron’s lips curled into a smile. “I’ll go take a look.”
“Cam, let me go with you,” Camilla said.
“Come on, Cami, don’t be a third wheel,” Eric teased.
So, Cameron headed up to the rooftop alone. When she reached the rooftop, Cameron looked around for Bradley, but instead caught sight of
a woman standing there.
The woman stood with her back to Cameron, dressed in a hospital gown, her messy hair fluttering in the breeze.
Cameron frowned slightly. Just then, the door behind her was suddenly locked from the outside.
Cameron’s expression darkened. She immediately realized this wasn’t Bradley who asked her here at all–someone was setting her up.
She turned her gaze back to the woman standing on the rooftop.
“Who are you?” Cameron asked, her voice icy.
The woman slowly turned around at the sound of her voice.
Cameron immediately recognized her, “Milena?”

Chapter 746
It really was Milena. After months in lockup, she looked gaunt, her cheekbones putting out sharply.
“Oh, Cam, long time no see.” Milena sieered, her voice laced with mockery.
Cameron’s face stayed blank. “Aren’t you supposed to be locked up? How did you get out?”
Milena fixed Cameron with a cold, mocking smile. “Cameron, I heard today’s the big day–you and Bradley, officially engaged.
“Se i injured myself on purpose, forced the guards to send me to the hospital, and waited for my chance to slip away. When I found out you were celebrating here, how could I not show up?”
Cameron immediately pulled out her phone. “Alright then, time to send you back where you belong.”
But Milena suddenly snapped, lunging at her, snatching the phone right out of Cameron’s hand and flinging it off the rooftop.
This was the 38th floor–no need to even look, that phone was already smashed to pieces.
“Call the cops?” Milena sneered, her face twisted with contempt. “Cameron, who the hell do you think you are? What makes you think you have the right to have me arrested?”
Cameron shrugged, unfazed. “I’m just sending you back where you belong.”
“Where am I supposed to be?” Milena spat, gritting her teeth. She fixed Cameron with a hard, burning stare.
