Grabbing onto her hand that she was titillating him with, Jenson pulled her hand to his lips and gave her a peck. Smirking flirtatiously at her, he said, "I can be naughtier next time."

Seline's heart skipped a beat, and she beamed even brighter.

Nonetheless, Jenson's heart sank.

After sending flowers to Suzanne consecutively for days, she did not accept a single bouquet. Yet she always accepted Austin's.

Throughout all the years of his life, he had never been treated like this.

Making use of the fact that she was still useful to him, she treated him in such an unfriendly and humiliating manner.

There were women everywhere who would love to sleep with him. Suzanne was being too oblivious to his kind gestures.

Seline leaned into Jenson and planted a kiss on his cheek. On the inside, she felt as if fireworks had just gone off in her mind.

At the same time, she was worried that everything before her was just an illusion. She lifted her head and gazed at Jenson with a worried and slightly dejected look on her face.

"Jenson, will you always love me? I'm really afraid that you'll start ignoring me again tomorrow."

Compared to Suzanne, Seline was way gentler and more understanding. Suzanne just needed to be taught a good lesson. One day, he would have her lie meekly in his arms just like this.

Jenson pulled Seline in closer to him. "When have I ever ignored you? It seems like someone wants more."

Upon saying that, he placed his hands on her waist and lifted her so that their bodies were pressed up against one another. Such intimacy made Seline's cheeks flush red bashfully.

A seductive gaze overflowed from her eyes. She bit down on her lip softly, then said coquettishly, "Jenson…"

The next day, Seline got ready and headed to work early in the morning, humming a tune along the way. As she stepped into her office, feeling ecstatic, the first thing she saw was Suzanne already hard at work. She had put on a white dress and tied her hair back casually.

A mocking gleam flashed across Seline's eyes as she scrutinized the simplicity of Suzanne's appearance.

She lowered her head to take a brief look at the delicate jewelry and expensive dress she was wearing, all given to her by Jenson. Comparing herself to Suzanne, she felt that she was much more gorgeous than Suzanne was.

Seline scoffed. When she walked past Suzanne, she whispered, "It's no wonder Jenson fell for me, old hag."

Thinking back to last night put Seline on cloud nine. She strode away and headed straight to the manager's office.

Suzanne paused midway through typing on her keyboard. As she watched Seline strutting away arrogantly, she smirked.

This wasn't Seline's first time acting out like this. Thus, Suzanne couldn't be bothered to respond to a mad woman like her either.

She lowered her head and continued working on her tasks, only getting out of her seat when she was almost done with them.
