Chapter 92

The inability to move and the overwhelming sense of losing control consumed Yasmine’s mind. She had always been strong, but now her voice trembled and broke with a hint of a sob, “Suzanne!”

Ignoring her completely, Suzanne placed her delicate, fair fingers on Yasmine’s wrist to carefully take her pulse.

Yasmine was incredibly panicked but was helpless against the situation. She felt an Infuriating sense of powerlessness.

If Suzanne had been less composed, Yasmine might have felt less tormented.

After a long while, Suzanne mused before softly saying to Yasmine, “Your condition isn’t severe. A few needles will do the trick. Don’t worry too much.”

Yasmine was livid. “Am I worried about my illness right now? I’in worried about what you’re going to do!”

The way she gritted her teeth made her look like she wanted to bite Suzanne to death.

Suzanne was amused. Running her tongue along her teeth, she finally nodded in agreement, saying, “Of course you would.”

In Yasmine’s eyes, Suzanne was far scarier than the illness itself right now.

Yasmine snapped, “You’re laughing right now?”

She had never met anyone as shameless as Suzanne. If she survived this ordeal, she swore to throw this vile woman into prison!

Suzanne shrugged with a smile but said nothing. Instead, she took out her set of silver needles before arranging them neatly on the bedside table.

As Yasmine stared at the cold glint of the needles, her fear grew exponentially. She was terrified.

Yasmine swallowed hard, turning back to Suzanne. Her tone softened considerably as she said, Suzanne, if you stop now, I’ll give you half of my company. What do you say?”

Money meant nothing in the face of survival!

Seeing Suzanne’s determined demeanor, Timothy know that she was not joking. In fact, she looked quite serious!

He warned harshly, “If you dare harm my daughter, I’ll make sure you regret it!

Half an hour later, Suzanne finally stopped. She looked up at the despairing Yasmine and said, “Ms. Hall, try moving your fingers.” Yasmine didn’t want to respond, but her body betrayed her as she instinctively twitched her fingers.

The frustration of despising Suzanne while her body obediently followed her instructions left Yasmine deeply uncomfortable. With a nod, Suzanne then said, “Now try moving your toes.”

Yasmine scoffed, casting Suzanne a disdainful glance. Her lower body was completely paralyzed just a moment ago. needles could restore movement to her toes?

Yet, her toes twitched unconsciously as if beyond her brain’s control.

Yasmine’s expression froze immediately, her eyes widening in shock.

Did her toes just move?

Did Suzanne really think a few

Thinking It might be a hallucination, Yasmine tried again, moving her toes once more. Her eyes were now filled with astonishment. They really moved!

In an instant, a wave of joy washed over ler

Yasmine stammered excitedly, “1–I think I can actually move them now.”
