The Auction novel Chapter 12

Lila POV

Jackson has to text me constantly about the breeders. I should've just gone myself. I have got three says to get another breeder ready for Mr. Craig's auction on Saturday night. I wonder how he plans to explain that to Tatina. She will hate him when she finds out. As soon as she decides she is done with him, I will auction her off.

I believe I can still get a pretty penny for her. He just had to take her virginity, but considering the tribe, she is from I can still get a lot of money for her. There are not many left from the aurora tribe. My phone is dinging again. I check my phone. Jackson. Damn him. He doesn't have enough sense to even walk around.

*Got three. Adeline, Adomele, and Aurora *

Well, finally the boy did something right. We have to keep them in the basement far away from Tatina. I cannot have her feeling sorry for them and letting them go. I will let Mr. Craig enjoy her for a while then I will make sure she knows everything he is up to.

Tatina POV

I am exhausted. I lay down in my bed. I have cried until I don't think I can cry anymore. I don't understand why he is mad at himself over me. I enjoyed being with him. It was nice to have someone touch me. I want to know why he was upset. I am going to ask him tomorrow. I probably shouldn't but I need to know.

Enough feeling sorry for myself. I am in a beautiful home full of everything my heart could possibly desire. I could text Jayne and ask for her help. Lila said Jayne's number is saved in my new phone.  I get out my phone and scroll for Jayne's number. I select her name from the contact list.

*Jayne. It is me Tatina.  Mr. Craig got me a phone. I want to talk when you have time*

Hopefully, she will get back to me soon. I wait patiently for her response. I take the phone with me to bed. I want to sleep. The phone dings.

*Hey Love. I am working the vampire authority auction close by. I will be home tomorrow. I will come by at noon to take you to lunch and show you the city. I will let Craig know. *

I text back. * See you then*

Great. I can get some answers tomorrow. I curl up and close my eyes.

Craig POV

I smile at her. "Can I lay with you?" I ask.

She moves over to make room for me in the bed with her. I gently lay in the bed with her. I wrap my arm around her. I snuggle her. I could lay here next to her forever.

"Can I stay here with you all night?" I ask her softly.

"Yes," she says.

"Jayne is coming for you tomorrow. She is taking you to lunch," I say to her.

She snuggles in closer to me. "Okay," she says.

She drifts off to sleep. I watch her sleep for a while. She is beautiful. I will give her everything. I will give her more than I ever was able to give Julie.
