Charles thought for a moment before saying, "Alright, here's the plan.

"Tomorrow, I'll have Ronald find a place for George. Staying in a hotel for a year isn't ideal. As for the tea culture, don't you have a friend who runs a garden house? Take him there for a visit.

"I might not have much time this weekend. I need to meet with Peter."

"Don't worry, leave it to me!" Noelle said.

Over the weekend, Charles went to meet Peter as planned while Noelle took Ronald to meet George. Ronald mentioned that they had already found a place—one of the standalone villas under Peter's name left over from when Lennon Group developed the area.

Each of them had a few, though Charles rarely visited his.

Noelle and Ronald picked up George, who seemed pleasantly surprised by the arrangements. "I didn't expect you to think of everything. I do need to stay in Brookville for about a year. Just yesterday, I was telling Dani that we should find a comfortable place since I'm not too fond of hotels."

"The place was prepared well in advance; my husband had arranged it. But since it hasn't been occupied for a while, it needed a bit of cleaning and ventilation, so we didn't move you in right away," Noelle explained as she took the suitcase from Dani and placed it in the trunk.

Ronald quickly came over to help. "Mrs. Hoffman, I'll do it."

Noelle waved it off, saying, "It's fine, and just call me by my name when we're outside."

After they loaded the luggage together, Noelle instructed Ronald to drive. "The location is quite good; it's in the city center but not too noisy. I checked it out yesterday. It's perfect for living."

"I am, but not many people know we're married." Noelle smiled, giving George a playful wink. "At work, he's my boss; in life, he's my husband."

George nodded. "A very independent woman. I see that women in Westel are very independent; that's a good thing!"

"Thank you!"

As Ronald listened from the front, he could not help but chuckle internally. This was not independence. Noelle was clearly just avoiding having too much of a connection to Charles. Even so, Ronald knew the real reason behind it all.

"Oh, by the way, do you remember Brian Parker, Mr. Click?"
