I looked at the boy and girl who sat in front of me, who looked really interested in the story.
"Wow. Your life was pretty crazy." Elijah stated.

I chuckled, "Yeah but that crazy life is now over and I had you two."
"I mean yeah, but you and dad went through a lot of crap." Elijah said.

"and where did you two run off too?" I asked while kissing Ryan softly.
"We went to the gym, Pops here thinks he can outrun me." Christian answered with a deep chuckle.
"I still got it, your legs are just younger. I'm older now boy." Ryan growled.
"Daddy, you only 30." My seven year old daughter, Mariah said.
Ryan lifted her up and kissed her cheek, "30 with 60 year old legs."
Christian chuckled and rubbed his hands through his hair, "Mom, I'm going to this party tonight..."
"You know how I feel about you going to those parties." I warned.
"I know but Mom, I'm 15." Christian complained.
"Fine. You can go but be back at this house by 12!" I warned again. He laughed and kissed my cheek. "I promise, mama."
