Seren and Ember were taken away by the celestial guards. All the deities had left, leaving the angels to take care of the destroyed place.
Once everyone was gone, Isis asked Petra, "Where is Sierra?"
"She is safe, my Sovereign. We will bring her back to the dungeon," Petra replied.
Isis, content to hear it, smirked. "I can’t let her die, as it will only alert the gods of her presence. Only if I could remove her name from the celestial stone of life, but..." she sighed and then said, "Without her, those two young earthlings won’t be able to prove what happened to them. Make sure, even by mistake, Sierra’s presence shouldn’t be known to anyone."
"Rest assured, my Sovereign."

Meanwhile, the pain Drayce and Morpheus were feeling stopped, as their mates Seren and Ember were not using their powers.
"Are you alright?" Evanthe asked in worry.
Both of them inhaled deeply, as it was the intense pain that had almost left them immobile and unable to breathe. Both of them assured her that they were alright.
"They have taken away your mates," Evanthe said. "I am afraid we can’t reach them easily."
"Seren’s mother?" Drayce asked.
"They have thrown her down the celestial hollow. She is not with us now," Evanthe replied, containing the hurt she was feeling. "In the past, Sierra had already told me something like this might happen if Isis ever found her, and I should not divert myself because of it. She told me to focus on protecting her daughter. At that time, I promised her, and I shall fulfill it."
Drayce and Morpheus could only agree to it, as there was nothing they could do.
"What are they doing?" all of a sudden, Morpheus said.
The other two looked towards the celestial hollow where the angels were holding Sierra captive.
"She is alive," Evanthe said in delight, letting out a great sigh of relief.
"They have a reason to keep her alive. That means we don’t have to fear for Sierra’s life," Evanthe said. "We can focus on protecting your mates."
"Before that, we need to reach the Deity of Wisdom," Drayce said and looked at his mother. "He will recognize you when he sees you, so it would be easier."
Evanthe hummed, while Morpheus said, "We need to split. All three of us together is like wasting time. Evanthe can go find that deity, while one of us can go after Ember and Seren, and the other one stand by to help if something happens."
"Seems like that is the only way," Evanthe said and looked at Morpheus. "Let’s do as he says." Then she looked back at Drayce, "Don’t let your darkness surface, or they will sense you. Keep your divine power at the surface to mask the darkness."
Drayce nodded, and they went ahead with the plan made by once the great commander of the Kingdom of Supernaturals.

Solon guided the arrangements for keeping Seren and Ember in the celestial healing chamber.
The two women were laid on the platform made of white celestial rock, which was surrounded by divine energy. The Celestial Healer Deity and his apprentices were examining the two women.
Once the Celestial Healer checked them, he himself was surprised.
"What surprised you, Deity Malen?" Solon asked.
The old deity had frown lines on his forehead that deepened with the wrinkles he had. He caressed his long white beard with his hand and then replied, "How did these two weak women manage to manifest the hellfire this way? Their constitution is so weak—as born in the mortal world—that they shouldn’t even withstand the smallest flame of hellfire. But..." he observed the two, "What drove them to be so powerful all of a sudden? Something must have prompted them..."
