After Mr. Creston handed Frank his phone, Frank nodded. "Good, at least you're cooperating. So you can do it yourself!"

Mr. Creston was left befuddled—what the hell?! He was already being so cooperative, and the brat still wanted him dead?!

"Friend, a gentleman is as good as his word," he said. "People would laugh at you."

"Laugh at me?"

Frank chuckled coolly. "Who would dare laugh at me? Also, I think it might happen if I don't wipe out people like you."

"What…!"

As Mr. Creston realized from Frank's calm tone that he was not letting him off the hook, he ran without hesitation.

But to Frank, he was slower than a tortoise and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Frank then whipped out Mr. Creston's phone and called the number in it.

A coquettish woman answered the call. "Hey, buddy!"

Frank laughed at the way she greeted him as if they were old friends. "Reverend Quietus, I presume? Why don't we meet up, if you don't mind?"

"I certainly don't mind." The woman laughed too. "Who doesn't like a handsome face? Here, I'll send you my address—come visit me anytime you like!"

She hung up right after, and Frank headed over to the address that was soon sent to Mr. Creston's phone.

He found himself staring at a beggar dressed in rags, standing in front of a bagel stall.

She pointed at the piece of cardboard she was holding, which read: Read your fortune here!

Amusingly, while the stall owner leapt on top of her and continued whacking her, she was yelling, as if in terrible pain.

The stall owner was clearly holding back, but the beggar sounded as if someone was bludgeoning her with a metal bat!

Her eyes soon lit up as a man appeared on the end of the alley, which was exactly what she wanted him to see.

The man came up to them and told the stall owner, "That's enough. There's no point in getting upset over people like her. Ignoring her entirely is actually most ideal."

The stall owner came to a realization right then—the beggar wanted to destroy his reputation!

"Sir, I think I should explain—I gave her a bagel, and not only did she spurn my gesture, but she even mocked me for it. I lost my temper with her a little… And don't worry, I didn't hit her that hard, or something would have broken from that scrawny bone."

Frank smiled, shaking his head.
