Frank gestured at the door with his chin, and everyone turned to see a diminutive man.

Despite his small frame, his eyes made it clear he was no average Joe. There was also a spring in his step—clearly having treated himself physically.

"Hello, everyone. I'm the owner of this premises!"

The owner was clearly not inclined for matters to escalate, which was why he never intervened.

That was until the manager accidentally touched the pendant!

It was a family heirloom that, according to the owner's forebears, had the power to eat through everything—it just had yet to be proven.

Horrified, the manager told the owner everything, and he came over to check out the situation. He would deal with Frank and the rest of the troublemakers, only to run into the troublemakers first.

"You're no slouch yourself!"

Cyclops was delighted and lunged straight at the owner without hesitation, his hands outstretched like talons.

The owner did not even seem to move, but Cyclops somehow missed.

"Fall."

With just a single word, Cyclops teetered forward and crashed on the floor!

And before he could get up, the owner was on top of him, stomping on his back.

It was such agony that Cyclops' one eye rolled up as he passed out, leaving everyone aside from Frank in shock.

Cyclops was the strongest in their group, but he did not even last one second against the owner—it was quite obvious how strong he was!

"We can't take him alone. Let's do this together!"

At the middle-aged man's call, the Ascendant-ranked individuals charged up, encircled the motel owner, and attacked him.

However, the motel owner moved so quickly that their eyes could not catch up, and he could counter their blows while blocking.

"I apologize for my ignorance and for causing trouble. Please forgive me," the middle-aged man said, not forgetting to bow at the motel owner.

He would even kowtow, if not for his broken hand.

Still, the motel owner ignored him and turned toward Frank and Drunken Moon. "Why did you attack my staff?"

"Because she deserved it!" Drunken Moon snapped coolly. "My friend wasn't at fault, but she insisted on blaming her for the entire mess, even calling up some bouncers to attack us."

However, the motel owner shrugged. "Even if she deserved it, I should be the one to punish her. Who do you think you are?

"Know your place and apologize to her, as well as pay compensation, or I'll make you!"

As it turned out, while the motel owner was strong, he was no different from the middle-aged man, refusing to see reason just because he was stronger.

In fact, he did whatever he liked and would push anyone around as he fancied.
