Chapter 541 Cutting Off the Rotten Branches
Jonathan quickly finished preparing the meal. As they ate, he and Sierra talked about recent events.
When Sierra heard that Shane had gone to see Jonathan, she admitted that she had also contacted Shane.
“I can never figure out what he’s thinking.” Sierra said calmly.
“You don’t need to figure out what he’s thinking,” Jonathan replied. He had no intention of letting Sierra understand Shane too deeply. These days, whenever Sierra mentioned Shane, there was no longer the same disgust and hatred as before.
After the meal, Jonathan told Sierra to rest while he went to take care of other matters. But Sierra looked at him, seeking reassurance. “You’ll come back later, right?”
“I will. I promise.”
Jonathan gave his word, and only then did Sierra loosen her grip.
She was being so obedient that Jonathan couldn’t resist. He held her and kissed her for a while before saying, “Wait for me to come back.”
Sierra nodded.
Jonathan first went to the Wynn family’s businesses and had all the main leaders, as well as the branch members, called together. Dozens of people filled the room.
When Jonathan appeared, most looked visibly relieved, but a few grew tense.
Taking in their expressions, Jonathan said, “I hear that while I’ve been away these past two weeks, you’ve all been quite busy.”
At those words, several faces darkened.
They were the ones who had tried to stir up trouble. Even though Sierra had spoken up earlier, some still couldn’t resist the lure of massive profits, while others were seduced by empty promises. They schemed plenty, but Sierra had prepared in advance and didn’t let them succeed.
Jonathan called out several names the ones who had sided with the enemy.

“Some of you have even forgotten the Wynn family’s ancestral rules. Then again, when a person no longer deserves to be called human, why would they care about ancestral rules?”
He waved his hand, and men stepped forward to take those people away.
They immediately pleaded. “We were wrong! We’ll never dare again! Please give us another chance!”
Jonathan remained unmoved. Seeing this, they realized he wouldn’t show mercy and began shouting.
“Why should the position of family head always belong to the main line? Why should we always be at your beck and call?”
The moment those words were spoken, many faces in the room turned complicated.
