Come in and sit with us.” Lady Jennifer came in, swaying her hips. Then, she sat directly opposite Sophia. Without waiting for the others to ask, she spoke first. “I had dinner with Dylan’s girlfriend yesterday and came back quite late. I came back to clean the house and slept rather late, so I didn’t wake up early today. I’ve just eaten and thought of coming out for a stroll, so here I am.” No one asked her anything; she said everything herself. A moment later, Old Mrs. Constance asked, “How did the dinner with Dylan’s girlfriend yesterday go? What was the conversation like?” The smile on Lady Jennifer’s face was a bit fake.
