He turned to the petite female reporter with an ingratiating smile. "Miss, please, come inside! I'll personally give you a tour and explain the rich history of Summit Academy!"

The reporter completely ignored him. "We're not here to interview you! We just refuse to stand by and watch what you've done!"

James frowned. "Then why are you all gathered at the school entrance?"

The moment he finished speaking, he saw the petite reporter push through the crowd, rushing toward the journalists surrounding Elara.

Rosalie's voice rose in alarm. "What's going on? Did Elara call reporters to back her up?"

Meanwhile, Niamh had already sent the video of Merida lifting Beau off the ground to a group chat that included Harvey.

Then she lifted her phone again, recording just a two-second clip of Elara with the reporters before posting it in the chat and tagging Harvey.

"Big trouble! Elara brought a ton of reporters and is throwing a massive tantrum at the school gate like a madwoman."

One of her buddies immediately chimed in. "This is outrageous! A country bumpkin can never change her ways!"

Niamh replied, "My sister has lost her mind since the divorce! She's even teaching her daughter to beat up her own son!"

The wealthy young heirs in the group chat quickly joined in, bashing Elara without hesitation. Niamh was pleased with the reaction. She lifted her phone again, focusing her camera on Elara.

At that moment, a man in a sharp blue suit stood in front of Elara. Under the full scrutiny of the cameras, he solemnly handed her a red-colored envelope.

"I am a representative of the Advanced Logical Intelligence Mathematics Competition Committee. Ms. Elara Jones, congratulations! You've achieved first place in the preliminary round and have officially qualified for the finals!"

Elara had assumed only one reporter would be interviewing her. "You all really went all out, huh?"

At least a dozen different media outlets had gathered at the Summit Academy gates.

"That's because your story is unique. You defeated countless competitors from prestigious universities to take the top spot in the preliminaries. Every journalist wants to be the first to interview you."

He then added, "As soon as I hand you this invitation, ALI Group will officially release the preliminary rankings online."

Elara opened the envelope, revealing her score and ranking. The cameras zoomed in simultaneously, focusing on the invitation to the finals in her hands.

"What are they talking about?" Parents around the area stretched their necks, eager to know more.

"I heard them mention something about the ALI Math Competition?"

"Oh! That's a highly prestigious math contest—it's only held once every three years!"
