Hearing his name, Kingsley blinked in surprise, clearly distracted. "What?"

His lack of focus immediately raised suspicion in Abigail. Typically, this troublemaker was the first to dive into any conflict, but today he was unusually quiet.

"Ms. Lloyd asked if there's any way to hypnotize Zac and neutralize his aggression," Chandler explained, stepping in.

"This is more of a psychological issue, and I'm not an expert, but I can give it a shot," Kingsley agreed, though with some hesitation.

Chandler nodded, officially assigning the responsibility to Kingsley.

After days of chaos, everyone was exhausted. They exchanged a few words before parting ways.

Meanwhile, Kingsley made his way alone to the room where Zac was being held.

Reggie was stationed outside, standing motionless like a quiet sentinel.

"Chandler asked me to go in and talk to Zac," Kingsley said.

Reggie immediately pulled out a key and unlocked the door for him.

As Kingsley stepped into the room, Reggie's voice called out from behind him. "Mr. Godfrey, stay closer to the door. If he breaks free, you won't be able to handle him."

To Kingsley's surprise, the usually impassive Reggie showed a rare moment of concern. Kingsley gave a small, appreciative smile and replied, "Thanks."

He then entered the room and shut the door behind him.

"Don't worry, I've learned my lesson. I won't act impulsively again. But sir, these conditions are unbearable. Can't you do something to improve my situation?" Zac pressed.

His implication was clear—he wanted Kingsley to help him escape.

"What kind of nonsense are you spouting? How could I let you go right under Chandler's nose—do you want him to discover there's a traitor among his own?" Kingsley snapped, turning to leave. "It's just a bit of hardship. If you're still alive, suck it up."

As Kingsley walked away, Zac gritted his teeth, a dangerous glint flashing in his eyes.
