The following day was the start of the academic year at Glendale University. It was held with great pomp.

Helen represented the new students by delivering a speech. Once the ceremony concluded, students returned to their classrooms to collect their uniforms for boot camp.

After receiving her uniform, Helen stepped out and noticed Wanda waiting at the end of the hallway.

Helen was surprised when she saw Wanda approaching her. "Ms. Spencer, can we have a quick chat?"

Helen asked, "What's the matter? If it's about the wedding gown, I've already sent the design drafts back to Aguilisco. Once they've finished the gown, they'll be shipped over."

Wanda shook her head. "No, it's not about that. It's about Ms. Faye. She wants to meet you."

Helen reluctantly followed Wanda. An MPV awaited them outside the school gates. When the door was opened, Helen noticed Faye was seated inside.

"Ms. Spencer, it's nice to see you again."

Helen got into the car and closed the door. "Ms. Boston, what can I do for you?"

Faye got straight to the point. "I need your assistance with something."

As the car began to move, she continued, "You met my mom the other day. She seemed quite different from others."

Helen nodded and prompted Faye to continue.

Faye went on to explain, "Since my younger sister's passing, my mom hasn't been herself. Doctors say she has suffered a severe emotional shock, and it often lapsed into fits of madness.

The memory of meeting Melody flashed in Helen's mind and she felt an unexpected heartache. Helen couldn't quite explain why recalling that moment made her uneasy. Perhaps it stirred thoughts about herself.

"Okay, I'll do my best to accompany her," Helen agreed.

Faye smiled and grabbed her hand. "Thank you, Ms. Spencer."

The car pulled over at the gates of the Boston Manor. Helen stepped out and glanced at the grand manor before her with mixed emotions.

"Ms. Spencer, come with me."

Helen glanced at Faye, who smiled at her and said, "Go on. Thank you for your help."
