Chapter 69: Annoying

Jasmine's POV

Damn, those flowers. It's been days since he sent me those flowers, and I kept on throwing them in the garbage bin. He's just wasting his time doing that.

“ Are you okay?” Ms. Bianca asked me, which made me look at her and smile. We'd just had a discussion about the designs.

“ Yes, it's just that someone kept on disturbing me these past few days,” I told her, but I managed to smile. She looked at the trashcan and saw a bunch of flowers in there.

“ I see, I've always noticed that someone is sending you those flowers, “ she said and chuckled. I don't know what is wrong with that guy. Now that I already want a peaceful life, he would do this, and it's really irritating me.

“ Yeah, I didn't actually expected but I have no intention of accepting those flowers either” I told her which made her look at me.

“ Why? If that's from your suitor?” she asked. He's not my suitor; he's just my ex-husband, who abandoned me years ago.

“ I actually don't like him. He's a total jerk. And he's a womanizer, too. So why would I engage with someone like him right?” I said and she laughed.

“ Well, if that's the case, I think you should warn him that if he continues doing this, you might file a case against him, " she said, and I just chuckled.

“ Nah, I don't want to waste my time with someone like him. Ignoring her is the best choice that I could make,” I said, which made her agree.

“ Well, you are right. By the way, I want you to meet someone. Clark is with him right now. He's one of our closest friends in the world of business, “ she giggled. That excites me, too.

“ Really?! I want to meet that person, “ I said, and she looked at my back.

“ Here they are!” She stood up, and I smiled before turning my back. But when I saw who it was, All the madness I'd been hiding for years came back again.

“ Meet Travis White, he's a well-known businessman not only here but also all over the world. He's handsome, and he's single now. '' She said, which I grimaced.

So he's the one that she's been referring to me? I know this man. I know him more than anyone else. He's a man who only uses words but he will never fulfill his promises. He's a man who will only hurt you and give you pain that you will always carry in your entire life. A man who will not defend you. A man who will just act like nothing happened after all of the pain he gave you.

I think he's Not a man, not a husband but just a boy who will play with your feelings and treat you like a toy.

“ Oh, of course, I knew him. “ I tried to smile while they were approaching us. I could see how a smile formed on his lips, but I didn't care about it. He's really annoying as hell.

Why the heck is this happening to me?! Whenever I go, he's always there! I'm so tired of his damn face!

“ Well, just buy snacks for us,” Bianca said, and they both left. I sigh and start to walk when the monkey grabs my hand.

I glared at him, and he immediately let go of my hand.

“ Don't you dare touch me again,” I warned him. My blood is boiling because of him

“ You're always mad when you are talking to me," he complained, but I didn't care.

“ We are at work, Mr. White. So please be professional,” I told him, but he was not listening to me.

“ I will only act professional when you talk to me calmly, “ he demanded, which made me angry. Does he still have the guts to say those words to me?! What a jerk! Why would I talk to him just like a normal person when he is always irritated and hurts me?!
