I looked at him speechless, I didn't know what to say, I was shocked, he is so kind, he is everything that I had wanted, the guy that would take care of me, the guy who would make me laugh, the guy who will stand by my side no matter what happens and that guy is right in front of me, that guy is Tyler, I wish Tyler was my mate, I really do.

"Teddy, breath"

I took a deep breath.

"Are you okay?" He asked

"I love you Tyler" I hugged him and he knew that I meant it as a friend.

"I love you too, teddy" he hugged me back.

We stayed like that for a couple of minutes, just sitting like that, me in his lap and him running his fingers through my hair.

There was a knock on my door and it made both of us snap back to reality, I jumped off his lap and did my shirt and Tyler stood up.

I cleared my throat "come in"

My mother opened the door and came in "I didn't interrupt anything or did I"

"No, no, no you didn't interrupt us we were just talking" I said scratching the back of my neck.

"Okay...sorry but Tyler you have to go now, in any minute now, the moon will be full and you know what's going to happen" she gave an apology look to Tyler.

"No it's okay, I was just wondering how long is he going to go through heat?" He asked

"Mmmmmm, about a week or so"

"WHAT!!!???" I shout

Oh my god, a week, one whole week, I'm going to be in pain, I'm not going to get to see Tyler, I'm going to die, I really am going to die.

"Don't scream at your mother like that" she said.

"But how about school?" I asked her

"I told the school that we are going on a road trip to your uncle, which I lied about" she said

I laugh "I love you mom"

"I love you too"

Suddenly pain shot through my body, I wanted to scream but nothing came out, my voice was gone, my back starts to hurt, my breathing gets heavier and harder, my body gets hotter, oh my god I'm on fire, someone help me.

"It's happening!!" Tyler shouted.

I didn't know what to do, my body was in pain, I couldn't move a muscle, I can't talk I can't say a single word, tears were streaming down my cheeks, I want to die right now.

I started touching my thingy, stroking it faster and faster, I kept thinking about max and imagining him touching me.

"MAX!!" I moan his name loudly as I came.

I could feel my eyelids get heavier, the pain was gone and I could feel myself get better, my heart was beating slower by every second, I closed my eyes and let the darkness take over.

Max's POV

"Max, are you ready?" My mother asked.

"Yeah" I replied and put on my shirt and quickly brushed my hair.

"Let's go, your father is waiting in the car" my mother said.

We were going to the red moons pack because they have an elder and she is going to tell us why I am going to go through heat.

I got in the car and we were off to the red moons pack.

I wish that I had a time machine so I can turn back time and not reject teddy.
