My mother smiled a sad smile "I was really hoping that you would say no"

I looked up to my mother "Why?"

"Because I don't want you to be without a mate teddy, I know that max regrets rejected you and I understand that you don't want to forgive him for everything that he done, I would of done that same thing but I wish that you do forgive him, if he still wants you back"

"I-I don't know mother, I really don't know"

I yawn and I could feel myself getting sleepy.

My mother layed me on the bed, pulling the sheets over me.

"Go to sleep honey" my mother kissed my forehead and she got out of my room, closing the door softly.

I yawn once again and snuggle deeper into the covers.

Wait, I need Max's shirt.

I reach under my pillow and pulled out Max's shirt.

I took a deep breath.

Oh Max

What did you do to me?

Why do I need you?

Why do I want you?

Why do I miss you?

And most of all, why do I still love you?

Teddy's POV

"Hello?"

"Hi"

"Oh, Teddy, how are you?"

"I'm good, how are you?"

"I'm fantastic"

I chuckle "Of course you are"

"So, what's up?"

"Do you want to hang out?" I asked, hoping that he would say yes.

"Yes! It's been a long time since we last saw each other"

I laugh "Tyler, you saw me today in school"

"Yeah but I didn't get to talk to you, I have lots of things to tell you, about me and Evan, and-"

But I cut him off "That's why I want to hang out with you, so we can talk"

"Okay, let's go to the park that's near your house"

"Okay"

"I will see you at the park, bye"

"Bye"

I hang up and put my phone on the table, I have no idea how to tell him that we are going back to lakeville, I'm scared that he would not want to be my best friend anymore.

I sigh and got up from my bed to get ready to go to the park.

I put on some black jeans with a dark blue shirt, I brushed my hair and went down stairs to put on my shoes.

"I am going to go back to lakeville" I said quickly.

The candy in his hands fell down to the ground.

"W-W-What?" He whispered but I heard him.

"You are joking, right?" He said, with tears in his eyes.

"No, I'm not joking"

Suddenly I heard him laugh, I looked at him, the tears in his eyes were all gone and he was happy.

He was happy that I am going to leave, but why? What did I do wrong? Am I not a good best friend?

"My baby is growing up!!" he shouted.

"W-What?" I looked at him confused.

"You are finally going back to him, you are going to forgive him, right? Oh my god-"

"Tyler"

"Maybe I can visit you and-"

"Tyler" I said a bit louder.

"And we can all be happy-"

"Tyler!!" I shouted "Stop, you got it all wrong"

"What?" he asked looking at me confused.

"Look Tyler, I'm not going back there to forgive max, I'm going to break the bond between me and him, and once I have done that I would come back to New York"

"B-But why would you do that? Teddy it's the best feeling in the world to have a mate, why would you want to break the bond? I know that you can't forgive him but at least don't break the bond" Tyler looked at me with sad eyes.
