"Well, I would but your know Stacey is here." Mr mayor said and Liam laughed.

"I know." Liam answered. "That's why I'm taking the risk of killing you. One bullet can't kill my angel but one bullet from me to you, there's no way you can survive. No one ever survived me."

They already knew I was here so I got out from hiding and stood a few steps behind Liam. I kept watching the red thing on Liam's head. It reminded me so much of the games I used to play with my brother.

"Well then, let's see who dies today. Liam Caden Salvatore." Mr mayor laughed and that's when I only figured out that Liam was targeted. There was a snipper aiming at him.

"Liam." I shouted and pushed him out of the way. I don't even know why I did it when I wanted him dead.

"ANGEL." Liam shouted as he caught me before I reach the ground. "You bleeding." He added and turned around to see the mayor gone.

"I didn't even hear the gun shot." I mumbled biting my lip because I was in pain.

"Don't be a baby it's only your arm. You will survive and who the fuck even gave you the permission to push me out of the way. You could've been dead and you want to act like a hero. Stacey you don't know the fact that these bullets can't kill me when I still didn't avenge my parents, brother and your family's death." He kept shouting at me but I was losing conscious. Who the hell even lectures someone when they bleeding to death. I can die now and he will keep shouting like a psycho. The least he can do is thank me until I know how to kill him myself.

Kaitlyn's POV.

I walked down the streets thinking of a way to get back Stacey or else my whole family will be in danger.

As I walked passed all the places we used to go together something in me just changed. There must have be one reason why I liked Stacey? Why I always protected her like a big sister? I always defended her when someone would pick up on her but why?

Was it because she was the only ugly orphanage at our school?

I can't even think right anymore because of her, I wish father would've just let her go or kill her because I'm tired of being a babysitter. I know the mayor ordered my family to kill her family because they know secrets. They knew so much about the mayor and that put his life in danger. The mayor wanted to be the president but he couldn't because not everyone liked him but I know he didn't kill Stacey's family for that, but why did he kill them? Why did they kill my family too? I considered Liam as a brother once but look how life has changed. Today we planning to kill each other and I don't even know why.

He explained everything I need to do, and how he will even come to school to check her out and maybe even kill Liam in the process. After I agreed with everything he dropped me at school.

Stacey's POV.

I was eating breakfast when Liam came in the house angry. He was so furious and I actually got out of the chair scared.

"Why ain't you ready for school?" He shouted taking his cap off. "I asked you a question Angel."

"I'm not going to school."  I replied.

"Yes you are going, so don't let me drag you to school. " he shouted going upstairs. "Angel I swear I'm not joking."
