My mom was everything. She was the woman of my life, my everything, before meeting my mate. It was always Dad, Mum, Tyre and I. Then Tay came along five years ago. He was the light of the family and brought us together even more. My mom was always happy. Tyre and I got our hair color and eyes from our mom. So did Tay. That's the only reason why my dad was still here was because of us. We kept him together. We held him up. He was our rock, like we are his.

It was a Friday, almost a year ago. We were out in the woods. That was our first mistake. Mom never listened to dad, but they never argued bout nothing. If dad said no about something, mom always said yes. Dad didn't care because he knew mom would never listen to him anyway.

Playing cops and robbers was the one thing we all enjoyed while dad cooked. He was the cook of the house. I was the second cook when he went to work. Dad didn't approve because he said he didn't want his children to end up in jail.

"Dad can we go to the woods?" Tyre asked him. Father frowned shaking his head.

"Come on guys!! Let's go to the woods." my mom cheered. We all ran out like little kids with Tay hot on our ass.

"I love you." my mom cooed in Fathers ear.

"I love you too, be careful please." he said kissing her. He rubbed her belly smiling. She was also pregnant.

Mom ran out to us and we all ran into the woods.

"You're it!!" I screamed to my mom running. I carried Tay on my back and Ty was next to us as our mom turned into her wolf. She always did that. She was slow in her wolf form. Not real slow, but fast slow.

"I'm gonna get you." She mind-linked us all. We all pretend scream running. It was harmless play, but then we didn't hear our moms stomping feet no where. I frowned following her scent.

"Tay, turn to your wolf and get home, now." I told him. He smiled nodding then ran as fast as he could. The tears was already building up and I felt like I was being killed.

"Mom? Mom!!!" Ty screamed as I ran to her body. She smiled at us as she coughed up blood.

"It's fine guys. I love you. Tell your dad I love him too. And Tay." she coughed some more before closing her eyes. I look down at her stomach to see it cut open. I start to hyperventilate.

"Where's the baby?" I ask Ty. He looks at her stomach with tears.

"TONI!! TYLER!! TYRE!!! WHERE YOU GUYS!?" MY DAD SCREAMED. I could here his voice cracking. We picked up moms body and carried her towards the opening to our backyard. As we put her body to the ground all I could do was cry. Our dad fell down in front of us holding moms body.

"Dad, w-we ar-are so sorrrrry." I sobbed. My dad looked at us, heartbroken.

"What happened? Nobody is suppose to e back there. This is our yard. Who's out there?" He asked. I could answer. I was heaving and couldn't even think straight.

"Dad we are so sorry." I kept saying over and over. I think our Aunt had came to get Tay because he wasn't in the house or he would've came out to see us.

"It's fine. It's fine." he looked down at her stomach angrily. It's cut open. Baby gone. Somebody took the baby. Mom was six months pregnant. "Who would do this?"

Tyre didn't say anything. I kept repeating sorry to our father and he just kept crying.

"Just watch me Ash." I say. I start over. I poured the flour and batter and eggs mixing it up. Ash was looking over my shoulder in awe.

"Wow, that's how they make it so good?" he ask. I nod at him like he's a five year old.

"Has your mom ever cook?" I ask him he nods.

"Yeah but our dad didn't want we to do so since he's royalty. Talking bout that, when do you decide to move in with me?" he leans on the counter watching me intensely. I shrug smiling smugly at him.

"Uh, cant, I gotta finish school." I tell him as he frowns at me.

"You can go to the wolf school they'll provide." He whines. I pour the basing batter into the pan, ignoring him. He's getting annoying.

"Leave me alone." I tell him. He huffs but dont say anything else. I cook about 24 pancakes and turn to Ash, who was watching me. I smile at him. "Sure."

"Huh? Really?" he ask excitement in his eyes. He's starting to act like a little kid.

"Yeah, how bad could it be?" I ask.

"It's horrible. I hope your making the right choice." Shy hollers.
