"I'm not stupid!" Asher grunted. Only stupid people call their mates fat. "I didn't even call you fat" he sighed.

My eyes narrowed at him. "Stay out of my head!"

Asher pouted. "I sowwy" he spoke in a child's voice. "I wobe you" Laughing, I kissed his pouty lips.

"Yeah. Yeah. Love you, too, you big baby" I giggled.

One month later

Asher was right, these babies are fucking heavy. I'm halfway through my pregnancy, and I'm my stomach bigger than a basketball. After that jumping accident last month, I've refrained from even going on my tippy toes. I started reading those baby books; honestly, they're very helpful. I've learned a lot. Like I can't give my babies honey after they're born.

I'm supposed to find books about twins, but I'm too lazy. I don't feel like walking around with my huge belly. "Babe! Time to go see Dr. Nale!" Asher informed me as he sauntered into the room. I guess staying in bed isn't an option.

With the help of my mate, I changed my clothes and put on my shoes. I reached down, but couldn't grab the shoelaces. Taking a deep breath, I tried again. Damn stomach is in the way. "Ash. I can't tie my shoe" I said with a frown.

"Weren't you supposed to learn how to tie your shoe when you were like 5?" he asked from the bathroom.

I huffed. "I know how to tie my shoes. I just can't reach the laces, ass-hole!" I huffed. Asher walked out of the bathroom and tied my shoes for me.

I slapped his arm when he was done. "Ouch! What was that for?" he asked while rubbing the spot I just hit.

"I didn't like your smart-ass remark" I stated before walking to the hospital room that I always saw Dr. Nale at. A few of my pack members passed by and greeted me. We finally decided how to keep the pack and the throne. We extended the castle, now our pack lives with us. Except the ones who wanted separate houses, they still live on the royal territory, just not in the castle.

After walking into the room, I attempted to sit on the bed. It was over half my height, so I had to lift myself. I'm so freaking heavy! I groaned and sat criss-cross on the tile floor. The door opened, and in walked Dr. Nale with my mate in tow. "What are you doing on the floor?" Asher inquired.
