Elijah POV.

I was so worried about Toby the whole day, the girl, well the neko, I left him with, even if Belle said she trusts her I'm still worried, extremely worried about him. He only spends time with me, maybe I should've brought him to work with me, but I'll end up with a fussy baby who'd cry and wants to sleep early.

With a sigh I went back to work, I begged chief Riley to give me a shorter time for work, she agreed on letting me leave early for today. But from next week I got to find Toby a permanent babysitter or a daycare to take care of him while I'm at work. When work finally ended, I finished my paperwork and ran back home, I got in my car breaking the law with speed.

Once home I opened the door with my keys, I expected to see the house all messed up, to find Toby crying, the last scene I would've to expect was this. Toby and Chloe were both asleep on his cat bed, he was cuddled against her sucking on his thumb instead of a paci.

I stood there dumb fooled, I looked around the house, it looks relatively clean, only the kitchen was a bit dirty with plates inside the sink along with Toby's sippy cup. Again not what I expected, she had the house relatively clean still, I finally moved back to see them still sleeping. I didn't know if I should wake them or just let them sleep off for a bit more time, is it normal for the sitter to nap with the little?

I still was standing up not knowing what to do, but Chloe woke up on her own just then, she yawned and stretched, she didn't see me standing there yet. I saw her slip from underneath Toby without disturbing him, she kissed the top of his head and stood up. That's when she saw me standing, she jumped screaming when she saw me, I just scared her, I didn't mean to, but her scream waked Toby up.

He didn't run to me or even noticed I'm here, he raised his hands for Chloe, she tried to lift him which is clearly hard for her. She had him in her hands calming and shushing him, he still had his thumb in his mouth, I should tell her to give him his paci for next time.

"Toby come here baby," I say calling to him, he just shook his head no.

"Toby, didn't you miss me?" I ask again but still got the same answer.

"Did he give you any hard time?" I ask her instead since my baby wasn't answering me.

"Toby stop it right now" I say in a firm voice picking him out of her arms and into mine.

"Now says bye" I say in a firm voice, if I need her service again he can't cry every time one of us leaves. My firm voice must have worked since he said bye still sniffling, his thumb found it's way back to his mouth, I changed it for a paci before spending some time just cuddling.

"Did you have fun with Chloe?" I ask after he'd calmed down.

"Uh-huh, we draw and played, Chloe a cat like me" he says proud of himself showing off his ears.

"Really, my pretty kitten" I reply kissing the top of his head, well I don't have to worry the next time I have to get him a babysitter.
