Watching the black Bentley disappear around the corner, Emily turned around to look at Franklin, "Daddy, I'm going home."
"Emily, you ..." Franklin wanted to say something but he did not know where to start from. He closed his lips, and examined Emily up and down.
Hearing the tone Franklin addressed her, Emily was stunned. This was the first time Franklin had called her in this tone. This probably meant that Franklin was finally seeing her as his own daughter.
"Eh?" Emily looked Franklin, "Father wants to personally tell me about the marriage?"
"Eh ...." Franklin frowned, "This is a long story, I will explain it to you tonight." Franklin raised his wrist, looked at the time, and then looked at Gary, "I still need to go back to the company to look at the business plans for the second half of the year. Gary, take Emily to buy some clothes later."
"Yes, sir." Gary nodded his head.
"I... Can I?" Emily asked, she hadn't bought clothes and just waited for Franklin to take the initiative to mention it.
"What do you mean?" Franklin frowned.
"Auntie and dad didn't seem too happy when I bought things last time ..." Emily pursed her lips.
When she mentioned this, Franklin remembered that Emily had immediately squandered money the moment she obtained the card, and he frowned. After that, Tiffany also told him a lot of things, he did not like Emily's actions and could not help but compare Emily to the usually frugal Rita. He felt a throbbing pain in his temples.
"Father, do you regret bringing me back to the Smith Mansion?" Emily had also guessed what Franklin was thinking and intentionally lowered her voice to pretend to be sad.
"Emily, what nonsense are you saying?" Franklin frowned, he had to admit that he felt extremely guilty towards his own daughter, after all these years of not paying attention, it was his fault, he was responsible for changing Emily into this kind of state.
Emily looked at Franklin and did not say anything. To Franklin, she was just a stranger related by blood. The attitude that all people of the Smith Mansion had towards her was same, they all thought that she was an outsider.
If she wanted to take revenge, the first step was to make the Smith Mansion see her and let Franklin see her as a real Eldest Miss of the Smith Family. She, Emily, was merely a child born from Tiffany, who was a home-wrecker.
She would make those who hurt her pay! She would personally drag all of them into hell one by one and make them die a horrible death.
However, right now, she had no one to support her, so all the preparations had to be made slowly. It didn't matter if she was despicable or scheming, the first thing she wanted to do was to use Franklin's guilt towards her to make him admit her and stood by her.
If she herself could not stand firmly in the Smith Mansion, how could she bring Jennifer back?
She wanted to take back everything that belonged to her and her mother. All the hardships they had endured in their two lives, she wanted these wicked people to pay for what they did!
Thinking about it, Emily clenched her fists and suppressed the hatred she almost revealed.
Being stared at by Emily, Franklin felt a little uncomfortable. He cleared his throat and said, "Gary, go drive the car over here."
"Miss Emily, is this gown okay?" Gary asked.
"Ok." Emily looked at herself in the mirror and nodded.
The dress reached to her knees, and the pleated design at the bottom of the skirt added to her playful vibe. Emily was very satisfied.
"Do you want to take a look at the matching handbag?" The shop assistant's eyes immediately lit up when she saw what Emily wore and immediately thought of the new handbag in the shop.
"Bring it here." Emily nodded.
After a while, the clerk took back the handbag and brought it to Emily with both hands, "This handbag is made from Italian craftsmanship, it is a world-limited product." The shop assistant looked at Emily who was playing with the bag in her hands and said, "The design of the diamonds and tassels on it is especially suitable for the ceremonial dress that you are wearing."
"Then wrap them up." Emily nodded her head, and upon hearing Emily's words, Gary also handed over the credit card.
"Alright." The clerk nodded her head and took the credit card from Gary with both hands, "Please wait a moment."
"Right." Emily then carried her own clothes back to the fitting room and carefully took off the ceremonial dress, tidied it up, and changed her own clothes before coming out.
After exiting the shop, Emily did not notice the astonishment in the eyes of the girls her age who passed by.
