First, Emily had robbed the monitor's position, and then, the vice-monitor's position. She was very dissatisfied, but she was still chatting smilingly with her classmates.

After queuing up for two hours to listen to the monitor, principal, and monitor's long speeches, everyone was a little tired. After the speech, they returned to the classroom. The radio had informed the class monitor to pick up the new books, and it was announced that the class would be dismissed soon after.

It was at lunch time. Emily called the driver, informing him not to pick her up today. After hanging up, she, Daisy and Cathy went to eat lunch together.

There was no need for them to go too far. There was an alley across from the school. There were quite a few restaurants inside, and because it was targeted at the students, the price was fair. The sanitation was pretty good and the taste was also pretty good.

They carried their heavy bags as they walked out of the school.

Wendy followed them out of the campus, and after glaring at Emily's back, she went onto her own private car.

She thought that she would be able to become good friends with Emily, who knew that it would be like this? Today had been a really bad day, but it was only temporary. There would be plenty of opportunities in the future. So all she needed to do was to get herself in top shape.

Thinking about it, Wendy took a deep breath, and smiled again. It was just the beginning, and she still had a chance. She was definitely the best. She was so perfect that no one would dislike her.

Emily... Let's take it one step at a time....

She didn't believe that she couldn't handle a rich scheming bi*ch?

As the driver drove away from the school, Emily walked to the other side of the road and stopped to look back at the familiar license plate number on the back of the car. She had always known that Wendy had followed her out of the school, but she had always pretended not to know.

She was Wendy's tablemate before, and it wasn't a big deal if Wendy tried to strike up a conversation with her. This time, when Wendy was sitting at the back of her, she actually came to strike up a conversation with her. But she was also nice to her again and again. Emily could not feel that she had so much charm to make people so deliberately want to be close to please her.

"You, what are you thinking about?" Daisy asked as she touched Emily's arm.

"Nothing." Emily shook her head and laughed, "Let's go, I'll take you guys to eat!"

"Are you familiar with this place?" Cathy asked with a smile.

"Not familiar." Emily shrugged her shoulders, "I've talked to some people I know before." With that, Emily pointed to the alley not far away and said, "There are delicious Hamburgers over there!"

"Let's go and have a taste." She rubbed her stomach. Last night, she had most likely committed a common ailment of all the students. With the coming new school year, her new classmates made her so excited that she almost couldn't sleep anymore. She woke up a little late in the morning, and rushed over to school before she even had breakfast.

They went to the alleyway for the Hamburgers, and just as they sat down and ordered their food, a few other student-like people walked in. There were three girls and two men. Other than the boy wearing the shirt, their hairstyles were a little exaggerated. They rolled up their sleeves, revealing their arms with patterns on them, and sat down next to Emily and the others.

Daisy glanced at the five people before turning back, and gave the chopsticks to Emily and Daisy.

"Three servings of Hamburgers." The waiter brought three servings of Hamburgers to them.

"Hey!" A girl with Afro hair at the next table said, "I'm starving. Give us three portions."

"This ..." The waiter was stunned. "They ordered these first."

Daisy scooped up the soup and looked at Emily curiously.

Emily understood what Daisy wanted to ask, and gently shook her head, indicating for Daisy to eat first, before replying.

Daisy nodded and obediently ate her food. She did not want to provoke this kind of person.

"Let's go to the Grand for a stroll after the meal!" Cathy suggested, "The dessert shop that we saw last time seemed to be doing a special service today."

"Sure." Emily replied, she also remembered that shop, "We can go after lunch."

"Alright." Daisy nodded once before saying, "Accompany me to the pedestrian walkway over there for a while more. I want to buy a few notebooks." This time, they won't be able to run around again.

"Alright." Emily and Cathy responded together.

"So noisy!" The girl with Afro hair at the next table suddenly hit the table, "Hey! Can you keep your voices down? Don't you know that others are eating? "

Cathy frowned in displeasure. Daisy was also a little angry, but due to the number of people, she did not say anything.

"Can you examine yourself before blindly accusing others?" Emily was also angry. Was it over?
