Rowena was a lady from a top-class family, but she was now someone else's mistress. Even though she was the mistress of the imperial chaplain, Caspian, people still despised her.

As the command left her lips, two Dark Troops from above suddenly pounced with longswords in their hands, moving swiftly. At the same time, many Dark Troops appeared from above and behind the trees, launching their attacks at Sebastian from different angles.

An icy light flashed past Sebastian's eyes as he removed the Godslayer Blade from the scabbard. He swung the sword, and there was a flash of white light.

Initially, she was doubtful when Dorian told her about Sebastian's strength. But now, she realized that Sebastian was way more terrifying than she thought.

The Dark Troops were grandmasters and were specialized in teamwork. Still, they were as weak as cotton in Sebastian's presence.

While Rowena was still in a daze, two more Dark Troops were killed by Sebastian.

Rowena opened her mouth again. "Sebastian Wilder, if you want her to live, then break one of your arms!"

Sebastian smirked mockingly at her words. "What an idiot."

"How dare you!" Furious, Rowena pressed the dagger harder against Abigail's neck, and blood trickled down Abigail's neck.

With a snigger, Sebastian said, "Why can't I call you an idiot? Do you think I'll do everything you say simply because you have a hostage?"

"Aren't you afraid that I'll kill her?" Rowena asked coldly.

Sebastian sneered. "You bet I am, and I want to save her as well. But first, I have to stay alive. If I listen to you and break one of my arms, I'll be the lamb waiting to be slaughtered. How can I save someone else when I can't even save myself?"
