After the two warlords had left, Caspian turned to Louis and asked, "Where's Leticia?"

"I've locked her in the woodshed. Dad, what are you planning to do with her?" Louis replied.

A cold, fierce light flashed in Caspian's eyes. "I raised her, and now she dares to betray me. Bring her to me. I want to see how I'll deal with her!"

"Dad, just kill her. A traitor like her is bound to be a disaster if left alive," Louis said venomously.

"How foolish!" Caspian snapped. "She is the woman favored by the Crown Prince. If she dies, we'll lose a pawn to control him, which would be extremely detrimental to our plans to overthrow the throne!"

"But, Dad, even if we give her to the Crown Prince, she might not be under our control," Louis said worriedly.

Caspian chuckled as he said, "I have my ways to make her obey. Bring her here and give her a good beating first. Let her learn a lesson."

Louis nodded and went to bring her back. However, when he arrived at the woodshed, he found that all the guards had been knocked out.

This was bad.

He sensed trouble. He rushed into the woodshed only to find that Leticia had already escaped.

He ran out and slapped one of the guards awake. He asked furiously, "Where is she?"

Trembling in fear, the guard stuttered, "Mr. Louis, please spare me. Ms. Lawson broke free. She knocked us out and ran away."

"Useless!" Louis shouted, smashing the guard's head with a slap. He quickly reported the situation to Caspian and sent men to chase after her.

Many children fainted at the sight, and those who remained cried even harder, yet they faced an inevitable massacre.

Meanwhile, Sebastian was unaware of these events. He was still recovering in a cave in the forest. After a full day of recuperation from exhaustion and injuries, he finally felt restored.

Exhaling a deep breath, he left the cave. He was determined to return to Imperial Chaplain Manor and deal with Caspian.

Just as he was about to set off, his senses detected a familiar figure. In an instant, he moved towards it and soon spotted a woman.

It was Leticia. She was looking around as if searching for something.

As a cold glint flashed in Sebastian's eyes, he quickly moved behind her and slapped her on the head.
