Thankfully for Caspian, the forest wasn't too far away, and he dove down as soon as he reached it.

The forest was dense, with thick foliage and towering tree canopies that blocked out much of the light. Once inside, Caspian flew close to the ground, constantly changing directions to throw off his pursuer.

When he realized Sebastian hadn't followed him into the forest, he quickly found a large, lush tree and hid beneath its canopy. He quickly held his breath and stayed completely still to avoid detection.

He believed he was safe, unaware that every move he made was under Sebastian's watch. Sebastian had the advantage of spiritual senses, a skill that ordinary warriors didn't possess.

Although Caspian had reached the Demigod Realm, his ascent was fueled by blood energy, so he hadn't yet unlocked this ability.

Hiding under the canopy, Caspian sensed Sebastian's presence above him and grew increasingly anxious. Cold sweat began trickling down his forehead.

Sebastian raised his hand and unleashed a powerful sword energy downward. A thunderous explosion followed, and several large trees were split in half, leaves scattering in every direction.

Then, something happened that filled Caspian with even more dread. A black ghost panther suddenly appeared below.

This creature was unique to the underground world. It resembled a panther but was several times larger, even bigger than a lion or tiger. Not to mention, it was known for being ferociously bloodthirsty.

Its glowing green eyes sent shivers down Caspian's spine. Under normal circumstances, he wouldn't have been afraid. He could have easily killed it with one strike.

However, he didn't dare to move now, knowing that it would expose his location to Sebastian.

All he could do was pray for the panther to leave quickly.

But that wasn't going to happen. The ghost panther had already marked him as its prey. With a powerful leap, it landed on the tree and opened its massive jaws, lunging straight for Caspian's vulnerable dangly bits.
