"Argh!" Caspian let out a piercing scream. He flung Leticia away with his other hand before falling from the tree. He crashed hard onto the ground and broke out in a cold sweat from the pain.

"I hate you so much. I should have killed you back in the valley," Caspian snarled.

"Mr. Wilder, stop wasting words on him. Let me end him now," Leticia said while raising her dagger to strike again.

Sebastian grabbed her arm, stopping her.

"He's still your biological father. You don't have to be the one to do this. Plenty of others want revenge on him. We'll bring him back instead," Sebastian suggested.

Leticia calmed her murderous intent. Then, Sebastian carried her in one arm and dragged Caspian with the other as they returned to the capital city.
